Become a student mentor

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ thrive

As a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Student Mentor you will be there to provide support to your new peers from day one. You will be a friendly face to connect with support, act as a guide, share your experiences for the first 7 weeks of your mentees semester. You can expect to be connected to a network of likeminded people, access to specialty training and development opportunities, social events, exclusive mentor pack and invite to the Student Experience Awards.

How it works.

We seek Mentors from all faculties, diverse lived experiences and at different stages in your education journey.

To get you started, all mentors will go through training to support you in your mentoring journey, as well as access to professional development including Mental Health First Aid.

You will be matched with up to 5 commencing students based on your degree, shared lived experiences and interests and hobbies.  As a mentor, you will meet your mentee weekly in semi structured coffee catch ups here on campus through weeks 1 to 7.

  • Be available to provide mentoring support through O-Week to Week 7 of semester
